Kari Toth

Hi, I’m Kari Toth and I am so happy to be working with at Millennium Kidz N Kare.

I worked with Parkdale Out of School Care Association (P.O.O.S.C.A.) for 30 years starting at Parkdale School in 1989 until the school closed in 2003. The program opened 2 different locations one in the SW and the other in the SE.  I continued to work with different schools throughout the city such as Erin Woods, St. Damien, Connect and The Calgary Girls School.  I became a Program Director for P.O.O.S.C.A. in 2005.

I went to Mount Royal College which is now called Mount Royal University and earned my Early Childhood Education and Development Certificate and years later went to Bow Valley College for my Class “A” Advanced Certificate in Out of School Care.

I have been married to my husband Les for 23 years and I have 2 boys, Jesse who just finished his 3rd year apprenticeship for Heat and Frost insulation at SAIT and Logan who is in Grade 7 at Holy Cross School.  We also adopted “Kona” from the Calgary Animal Care Rescue Society, and she is only 11 months old.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family by usually going camping, quadding, hunting or fishing.

I look forward to meeting all the families in the program and having a great time with the children!
